Kalyaan Foundation was founded with a clear mission: to reverse the migration trends, bring families back together, and drive sustainable development in the Marwad region of Rajasthan. The founder, Pankaj Jain, hails from Jalore District, a place close to his heart. With diverse experience in startups, family businesses, partnerships, and working across different parts of India, Pankaj has personally experienced the challenges of migrating from one's home region. He understands the struggle of learning new languages, adapting to different cultures and climates, and adjusting to local customs, psychology, and food habits.
His vision for Kalyaan Foundation stems from this deep-rooted connection to Marwad and the desire to create a better future for the region. By focusing on water conservation, agroforestry, sustainable town planning, and community upliftment, Kalyaan Foundation aims to create an environment that fosters growth, stability, and long-term prosperity for the local population.
At Kalyaan Foundation, we are dedicated to addressing urgent challenges, such as rapid migration, ecological balance, and community development. Our mission is to build a society based on the principles of "Live and Let Live," inspired by the teachings of Lord Mahaveer.
